Merit's standard paint finishes are applied with care by hand. This multi-step, painstaking process involves priming, hand-sanding and coloring with a heavily pigmented lacquer finish, resulting in silky-smooth product. Most colors are available in matte and high gloss sheens. Matte finishes are available on Maple or MDF. High gloss finishes are offered on MDF.
